General Information PARENTAL AGREEMENT COMMITMENT Parents must pick-up their children in compliance with the time stated on the Parental Agreement Form. Failure to do so will incur a $10.00 late fee for each quarter hour. Our teachers must leave the building by 6:00 PM, therefore children must be picked-up by 5:45 PM.
SICK DAYS The fee charged is based on the Center being open 20 days per month. CCDC is usually open from 21 to 23 days for month. Therfore, there is no refund or credit for individual sick days or holidays.
VACATION 1 vacation week per year will be credited, if the center has had prior notification and the child has been a full-time participant for the past year. Credit can not be given, if the Center has not had prior notification since the teachers will have anticipated your child's attendance and activities have been prepared for your child.
MEDICATIONS No medications of any type shall be given to a child without a physician's current written instructions and written consent from the child's parents. All medications shall be kept in the original containers, labeled with the original prescription label and have safety lock closures. PLEASE DO NOT SEND A CHILD TO SCHOOL ILL, WE WILL HAVE TO CALL YOU TO COME AND TAKE HIM/HER HOME.
LUNCHES Children are required to bring a lunch. Please try to limit the items that need to be microwaved. The teachers do not have enough time to heat everyone's lunch simultaneously.
BLANKET AND CLOTHING Each parent must provide a blanket for the child. This blanket will be sent home for periodic cleaning. We require parents to provide a COMPLETE CHANGE OF CLOTHES for their child. This change of clothes is to be seasonally updated.
HOLIDAYS CCDC is closed for all major holidays. Please consult your school calendar for the dates the center will not be open.
SMOKING In accordance with the state law, there is NO SMOKING in the building.
PARKING You may park on Center Avenue (either side) or the side streets to drop off and pick-up your children. Please be sure to bring your child into the building and into his/her classroom. Only adults should pick-up and drop-off children.
